Nigeria vs South Africa: Nwankwo Kanu, Arsenal, Villarreal, Others Congratulate Super Eagles

Congratulatory messages continue to flow in from all over the world for the Super Eagles after their convincing 2 – 1 victory over South Africa, Wednesday, in the quarter finals of the African Cup of Nations.

Nigeria are now through to the semi-finals of the continental championships after goals from Samuel Chukwueze and William Troost-Ekong condemned South Africa to a quarterfinal exit.

It was Chukwueze’s first senior goal for Nigeria while Troost-Ekong also got his first ever AFCON goal on a memorable night for the Super Eagles and their fans worldwide.

The team’s official Number One fan, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was proud and grateful for their efforts.

Kanu Nwankwo, arguably Nigeria’s greatest ever footballer, was on ground in Egypt to cheer on the team.
