There may be good news to the ears of Manchester United fans after Argentina midfielder, Paulo Dybala declared his readiness to leave Juventus in a bid to join the Red Devils.
According to Tuttosport, Dybala is not part of Maurizio Sarri’s plans and could be used as a bargain in the deal to bring Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba from Old Trafford.
The Argentine forward has long been admired by Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is interested in bringing him to Old Trafford this summer. And Dybala has accepted the possibility of a transfer in the coming weeks, according to the Italian publication.
He would cost between £70-90million and PSG are another club keen on the 25-year-old forward. But one advantage United might have in any negotiations is the Italian champions’ desire to re-sign Pogba.
The midfielder has made no secret of his will to leave and his agent Mino Raiola says everybody at Old Trafford knows of his intentions.
United want £150m for the Frenchman, a price proving to be a stumbling block for his main two suitors, Juventus and Real Madrid.
But Dybala going the other way could play a key role for Juventus, particularly now he has agreed to a move away in principle. Solskjaer wants to add some guile and creativity to his United side, and Dybala would fit the bill.
The Norwegian would be open to deploying him as a playmaker rather than the second striker behind Marcus Rashford.
Although new Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has not explicitly said Dybala is not part of his plans for the upcoming campaign, he would welcome the opportunity to reinvest funds if the Argentine does leave.
