Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved up from 46th place to 42nd in the latest FIFA rankings that was released on Thursday by the World football governing body.
The three-time Africa champions quick move was achieved after the team defeated Seychelles 3-1 in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier before pipping Egypt 1-0 in an international friendly at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in March.
The Red Devils of Belgium maintained top position in the world, with world champions France, Brazil, England and Croatia completing the list of top five teams in the world in the latest FIFA Ranking.
