Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a goalless draw by Uganda in an international friendly at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Tuesday.
The three-time Africa champion who recently qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Cameroon after a 1-1 draw against South Africa in Johannesburg on Saturday, used the Uganda tie as a tune-up game ahead of the bi-annual tournament.
Despite controlling possession for the most part of the game, the Super Eagles could not break the deadlock as the Ugandans were well organised at the backline.
Nigeria next game will be against Seychelles in the final fixture of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in a yet to be disclosed venue.
