Seychelles manager, Gavin Jeanne has reiterated that the team has nothing to be scared of the Super Eagles ahead of Sunday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Pirates as they are known will also be seeking for the maximum point just like the Super Eagles, having lost their first opening fixture in 2017.
Jean told a Lagos based radio program that was monitored by Soccernet.ng that the team could upset Nigeria in Victoria going by their good performance at the Cosafa Cup.
“Yes, we are very ready and positive about our chances against Nigeria,” Jeanne said.
“We have prepared well and I hope the players maintain their focus and stick to the plan.”
“We have enjoyed a good build-up to the game. It’s our biggest football match in history.
“We have tested ourselves enough from our participation it the Cosafa Cup till now.
“I hope it goes well and we make a positive impact.”
