Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo back to scoring form after 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in a Chinese Super League on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old who return following his participation in this summer tournament started for his Chinese club Changchun Yatai in the 2-1 over Chongqing Lifan at the Olympic Sports Center in China.
The home side started the encounter brightly as Seba put the Chongqing Lifan ahead in the six minutes of the game before World Cup flop Ighalo equalize for the away team 13 minutes later before Yongzhe Cui scored an own goal in the 54th minute to hand Changchun Yatai all three maximum points in the game.
Nigeria international who misses to glorious chance in the Group D the last match in Russia against Argentina has now notch eight goals in 12 league appearances for his team.
The win boosts Changchun Yatai’s hopes of avoiding relegation as they now occupy 12 positions in the 16 team table.
