Representing Nigeria’s An Honour – Echiejile

Super Eagles left-back, Elderson Echiejile, has revealed that playing for Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup has always been an honour.

Echiejile was among the 23-man squad selected by Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr to represent Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia.

The former Monaco defender who narrowly missed out at the 2014 mundial due to an injury, stated on Saturday via his twitter handle that he’s delighted playing for the Super Eagles.

“Nigeria, it is honour to serve you #Russiaherewecome #Naijaforlife #eue3 #positivevibes #supereagles #nff,” Echiejile tweeted on Saturday.

Nigeria will play Croatia on June 16 in their opening fixture of the 2018 World Cup in Russia before facing Iceland and Argentina respectively.
