Barcelona beat Mamelodi Sundowns in a friendly in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
Ernesto Valverde named a pretty strong team with Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez all starting. Yerry Mina also featured again but this time alongside Sergio Busquets in defence. Lionel Messi was left on the bench with Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba.
The visitors took just minutes to open the scoring as Ousmane Dembele fired them ahead. Here’s a look at his goal.
Luis Suarez then made it 2-0 as Barcelona doubled their lead after just 19 minutes with a neat finish.
There were more chances too as Dembele had an effort scooped off the line, while Denis Suarez headed onto the post.
It was all change in the second half as Valverde sent out a completely new team but they picked up where they left off with a third goal.
Andre Gomes was the scorer after some pretty awful defending by the home team.
Paco Alcacer almost scored a fourth but saw a great effort tipped over the bar and then Messi finally arrived on 74 minutes.
Sundowns did pull one back through Sibusiso Vilakazi and Jasper Cillessen was forced into quite a few saves as Barcelona won 3-1.
Barca will now fly back to Spain in time for their final game of the season on Sunday when Real Sociedad are the visitors to the Camp Nou.
