Nigeria International Alex Iwobi has reacted to the exit of long-term Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
The 21-year-old club Academy graduate made his first-team debut for the Gunners in a 3–0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the Round of 16 of the League Cup.
He then made his Premier League debut four days later in a 3-0 win against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, as a stoppage-time substitute for Mesut Özil.
Iwobi has been consistent in Wenger’s team since then, and the Super Eagles star has heaped praises on the French coach for giving him the opportunity to achieve his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
Iwobi has featured 92 times for Gunners and scoring eight goals in all competitions so far.
