Andres Iniesta is expected to be fit to face Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday, according to an update from AS.
The midfielder is expected to return to training on Monday and could complete a full training session on Tuesday.
He’s also posted an optimistic update on Twitter with the caption ‘Closer every day’:
Barcelona will be hoping Iniesta can be fit for the game, particularly with Philippe Coutinho being ineligible.
The tie is fairly delicately poised after a 1-1 first-leg draw at Stamford Bridge, but with an away goal and now home advantage Barca will be favourites to progress.
