Leicester reject Musa’s loan move

Leicester City have rejected a loan to CSKA Moscow for Ahmed Musa, according to a report.

The Nigeria international has struggled for game time at the King Power Stadium and has been linked with a return to CSKA Moscow, from where he joined the Foxes, but according to ScoreNigeria, the former English champions has rejected a loan move for the 25-year old, as they would rather prefer an outright sale.

“A decision will have to be taken by this weekend on Ahmed‘s future,” an unnamed source was quoted in the report.

“The player and his representatives will want him to stay put in England even though there have been some serious offers from outside England.

“What has really delayed his return to CSKA is the fact that Leicester City wish he moves back on a permanent basis rather than on a loan.”

Musa has scored five goals in a total of 33 appearances for the English club and has since been demoted to the team’s U21s.
