The agent of Mesut Ozil has been spotted in Barcelona this week.
Sport says Erkut Sogut has visited the city and been seen with Barca football director Pep Segura.
It’s suggested the pair have discussed Ozil’s situation at Arsenal and his willingness to move to Barca next month.
Off contract in June, the Germany international is viewed at Barca as a cheaper alternative to Liverpool’s £120m-rated Philippe Coutinho.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed yesterday new contract talks were underway with Ozil’s camp, though news of Sogut’s visit to Barcelona will be concerning.
