Messi identifies another player for Barca after Paulinho

Lionel Messi has identified another player for signing in the coming season for Barcelona, according to reports.

Messi has told the Barcelona directors of Justin Kluivert at Ajax and he is of the opinion that the young player has what it takes to excel at Camp Nou as reported by Diario Sport.

The Ajax striker is the son of former Barcelona hitman Patrick Kluivert and has gone to impress this year which has caught the attention of Messi.

After the success of Paulinho this season, Messi’s recommendations now carry further weight with the board and he has urged them to pursue a deal for the young Dutchman.

Kluivert is rated €3m and his contract expires in 2019, the forward has scored six goals in 20 games.
A January move is unlikely, however, with Barca having other priorities. But a summer market deal will be considered due to Messi’s influence in the deal.
