Dembele confirms his Barcelona return date

Ousmane Dembele has confirmed that he will be back in training with the senior team in two weeks following an injury-hit start to his Barcelona career.

The Frenchman was forced off injured in Barcelona’s September victory over Getafe and is expected to return within the forecasted three-month timescale.

Whilst in attendance at a Ligue 1 game between Nantes and his former club Rennes, Dembele gave a brief interview in which he made clear he hoped to play again as soon as possible.

“In two weeks, I will be training with the group. I have been working every day, including holidays and Sundays. I want to play again as soon as possible.” Dembele said as quoted in MARCA

Dembele joined the Blaugrana in an initial €105m deal from Borussia Dortmund this summer and has yet to score in three appearances for the club.
