Cameroon Are Beatable In Uyo – Salisu

By Augustine Akhilomen

Super Eagles Assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf has revealed that the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will definitely crumble to the Super power of the Super Eagles In a 2018 World Cup qualifier in Uyo.

The game which is slated for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Friday September 1st, could go a long way in determining the faye of both teams in group B.

Nigeria top the group with six points from two matches while Cameroon are second place with two points from two matches.

However, Salisu stated that Nigerians shouldn’t pannick over the match considering the fact that the team would pick the available three points.

“Those who are panicking over Cameroon are entitled to their opinion. Personally, having been with this team for a while now, I don’t think I have any reason to doubt the Super Eagles.

“In as much as we respect the Lions of Cameroon, they are a team that can be beaten. Moreover, they also know that they will be meeting a strong side in the Super Eagles.

“It will not be an easy match but there is nothing to worry about. When we get to the bridge, we shall cross,” he said.
