Conventionally, Barcelona are presently wallowing in so much money and have a lot to spend on their transfer target after the world record sale of Neymar to PSG last week.

The Catalans have the pressing responsibility of finding an ideal replacement for one of the best players in the world and they are hunting hard.

Before now, Barcelona have been linked with moves for Ousmane Dembele, Kylian Mbappe among other superstars but recent reports from Sky Sports have it that the Camp Nou outfit have joined the race for another AS Monaco player – Thomas Lemar.

The Frenchman had been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal and the Gunners have reportedly had a couple of bids – in the region of £50m – rejected for the 21-year-old.
