Barcelona have made a bold attempt to beat Real Madrid to the signing of AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.
With Neymar now a PSG player – to the tune of €222m – Barca have approached Mbappe's camp this week about choosing them over Real.
However,Don Balon says the response was negative, with Mbappe only wanting to leave ASM for Madrid.
It's understood the instability at Barca has put the youngster off, with the change of coach and Neymar's departure concerning Mbappe.
Real, meanwhile, have left a €130m offer on the table for the striker, which was made a fortnight ago.
