Barcelona are nearing a deal for Philippe Coutinho and are hoping to complete the deal this this week.
The Spanish giants are armed with a £200million war chest after selling Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain last week and having long identified Liverpool midfielder Coutinho as the Brazilian’s successor, Barcelona expect to complete the £120m deal in the coming days.
Reports in Spain claim representatives from the La Liga side have travelled to England three times to meet with Coutinho’s representatives.
And the Brazilian playmaker was left out of Liverpool’s pre-season friendly against Athletic Bilbao, even though Liverpool said it was a precautionary move due to a slight knock he suffered.
The player himself has told Barcelona that he is ready to move, and Liverpool are expected to grant him his wish, as long as they receive a suitable offer.

What a load of rubbish, If messi prefers Ali why pester Liverpool. I would imagine, from the sound of it all coutinho has been organising all this with Neymar. Unfortunately he has a contract with Liverpool and Barcelona are wasting precious time just like we did with Keita.
