Wenger ready to buy Barcelona midfielder

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to deal in Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan.

El Mundo Deportivo says the Gunners are accelerating plans to sign Barcelona star Turan, who looks set to leave the Nou Camp.

The Turkey international has found it hard to make a name for himself over in Catalonia, often being forced to play second fiddle to the likes of Neymar,Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

He looks destined to be shown the exit door as a result and it is said that Arsenal are in pole position to sign him this summer.

And the report adds that Wenger is dreaming of fielding him alongside Leicester’s Mahrez.
