Lionel Messi isn’t impressed with the expected permanent arrival of Gerard Deulofeu at the Nou Camp.
The Catalans are set to trigger a £10.5m buy-back clause in the Everton forward’s contract.
New Barca chief Ernesto Valverde wants the 23-year-old to be part of his revamped squad.
Deulofeu has fallen out of favour at Goodison Park since Ronald Koeman replaced Roberto
Martinez.
The Dutchman shipped him out on loan to AC Milan for the second half of last season.
Barca insisted on a buy-back clause when they rubber stamped his move to Everton for £4.2m in 2015.
Deulofeu was unable to establish himself at the Nou Camp when
Luis Enrique was in charge.
But his departure last month increased the likelihood of the clause being activated.
