FIFA are investigating Russia’s entire 2014 world cup squard and 11 other footballers for alleged doping offences.
It appears the are part of 1000 individuals who are under the spotlinght in the ongoing investigation into Russia’s state-supported doping programme, and subsequent cover-ups.
FIFA says it has detailed evidence and intelligence to support its inquiry into the
allegations.
Russia hosts the 2018 World Cup in less than 12 months time, and anti-doping campaigners
say FIFA musrt be seen to act quickly or lose its credibility.
