Barcelona confirm USA visit

Barcelona have confirmed they will visit the US this summer.

July will see Barcelona spend almost a fortnight in the USA as the Blaugrana take up their pre-season tour formalities with three fixtures on North American soil.

A staggered return date is planned for the start of the season with those not competing in June internationals due back on July 12 before the rest of the squad embark upon the usual fitness tests two days later.

However those involved in the European Under-21 Championship or Confederations Cup won’t join the Catalan outfit until during their US tour.

Leaving on July 19,Barcelona are due to play Juventus in New Jersey on July 22,Manchester United in Washington on July 26, and Real Madrid in Miami on July 29.
