Lyon launch bids for Barcelona fullback

Olympique Lyon are busy in the Spanish transfer market this week.

Sport says Lyon have launched a bid for Barcelona fullback Lucas Digne.

However, Barca rejected the bid, which fell well short of their valuation.

For his part, Digne is also reluctant to leave this summer.

Meanwhile, Lyon are also in talks with Real Sociedad for Carlos Vela.

The French giants see the Mexico international as a potential replacement for want away star striker Alexandre Lacazette.
