Coach hails Victor Osimhen

Nigerian star, Victor Osimhen has been hailed as the future of German club Wolfsburg, according to manager, Andries Jonker.

The 19-year-old is yet to make his official senior debut for the Bundesliga outfit but the Jonker is confident that the former youth international has the quality to be a great player and confirmed that his debut is close to happening.

‘He (Osimhen) has made a very good impression, ‎ he has great potential in him. He is ambitious, quick and highly unpredictable, he will be a star in the future if he maintains his focus’, Jonker said.

‘Both are different, Victor is a different type of player, strong, quick and hardworking. He will be in the squad for our next game. His debut is close.’

Osimhen is part of the group of 25 players invited by Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr for the friendly against Corsica.
