The former Rivers United midfielder, who was lively throughout the encounter headed in from a corner, five minutes from time to condemn the Aba Elephants to a slim 1-0 defeat in Bauchi.
“I’m excited to get my first goal of the season and it came against the mighty Enyimba,” Alegbe was quoted as saying SportingLife.
“We’ve not had a great start to the NPFL season so far and needed maximum points against Enyimba to help improve our position on the table and that win boosted our confidence.
“Hopefully, we can take this confidence into subsequent games and kick on from there.”
Wikki Tourist are currently placed 16th with 18 points on the NPFL log while Enyimba sit seventh with 22 points.
