Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr has been mandated by the Nigeria Football Federation to either qualify the team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup or get kicked out of the job according to the team’s media officer, Toyin Ibitoye.
The German tactician who has began his managerial career on a winning note after overcoming Zambia 2-1 in Lusaka before conquering Algeria 3-1 in Uyo to top Group B with six points.
Nigeria next point of call will be a tough encounter against the current Africa champions, Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on August 28 in Uyo, an encounter that could determine the fate of the senior national team.
The media officer of the Super Eagles Toyin Ibitoye tweeted on Monday: “The mandate given Rohr by his employers, Get the @NGSuperEagles to the 2018 World Cup in Russia or your contract won’t be extended.”
