What Arsenal must do to lift EPL – Kanu

Former Arsenal star Nwankwo Kanu has identified two important things that he believes would help his ex boss Arsene Wenger win the Premier League trophy this season.

The Nigerian legend who spent five years at Arsenal explained that his former team have the potentials to be crowned champions at the end of the current season only if manager Arsene Wenger could convince Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to stay at the Emirates.

Sanchez and Ozil are still stalling on new deals with the Gunners with many reports claiming that the duo may be considering facing the exit doors at Arsenal.

Kanu, 40, who was part of the Gunners 2004 invisible team has now advised Wenger to do all his best for Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to commit their future to the club.

”It is important to keep your best players if you want to move forward, because Alexis and Ozil are great players and why should they leave a great club?

”My advice to Arsenal would be to be able to really see off teams. If they are one goal up, they have to make sure they finish the game strongly and not let other teams back into the game.

” I believe Arsenal can still win the Premier League, but they must keep Sanchez and Ozil,”the former Super Eagles striker explained.

Arsenal currently occupy second position on the Premier League standings with 47 points, but the Gunners are eight points behind leaders Chelsea.
