Eibar vs FC Barcelona Match Preview

FC Barcelona will be hosted by Eibar at the Ipurúa stadium on Sunday night in their 19th game of the 2016/2017 La Liga season as they look to close the gap on leaders Real Madrid and keep their hopes of winning a a third consecutive title.

Barça started the year in a quite unimpressive fashion, failing to win their first two games but they bounced back by winning three consecutive game and will try to make it four when they face an Eibar side who have been firing in all cylinders this season.

The Basque outfits have been in great form so far this season and lie in an impressive 9th position after 18 games although their recent game was a 3-0 loss to Atlético Madrid in the Copa del Rey.

TEAM NEWS
FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has named his squad list for the game featuring 18 players including the return of Aleix Vidal, Jeremy Mathieu and Marc André Ter Stegen in the squad after being left out of the team to play Real Sociedad on Thursday.

Aleix Vidal and Ter Stegen are set to start but Andrés Iniesta and Rafinha Alcántara are out through injury while Jordi Masip will sit out the game while Mascherano is suspended.

For the hosts, goalkeeper Riesgo and key defender Ramis is injured for the game. Kike Garcia, Ajunca and Arbilla are also out of the game for Mendilibar’s side.
