Barcelona vs Hércules; Copa del Rey Match Preview

Barcelona vs Hércules – Image: FCB

FC Barcelona go into the final game of 2016 when they host third division team Hércules in the second leg of their 2016/2017 Copa del Rey Round of 32 tie after a hectic 1-1 draw at the Rico Pérez in the first leg encounter.

Hércules stunned Barça in the first leg by grabbing the first goal of the game, but Barça B Youngster Carles Aleña equalised via a fantastic goal. Barça will be looking to better that result and performance when they host their opponents at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

TEAM NEWS
Just like in the first leg, Barça are likely to go with a second-string team with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Suárez, Piqué, Ter Stegen, Sergi Roberto, Iniesta not featuring. But Luis Enrique will not be taking to any chances and might just mix the youngsters with the first team regulars.

Defender Jeremy Mathieu is the only injury concern as he’s still sidelined through injury. Jasper Cillessen is almost certain to start in goal.
