FC Barcelona face City rivals Espanyol in the Catalán derby on Sunday night with an aim to reduce their points deficit to Real Madrid to just 3 points as Los Blancos play the Club World Cup in Japan.
Coach Luis Enrique is aware of the difficulty of the game and won’t be taking any chances at Camp Nou, the Asturian has named 18 players in the squad to face the Blue and White part of Barcelona as they look to end their neighbours’ ten game unbeaten run in all competitions.
Defender Jérémy Mathieu is the only player out through injury, hence didn’t make the squad list, leaving 21 players left of which Jordi Masip, Aleix Vidal and Andre Gomes didn’t make it. Neymar returned to the squad after missing the previous two games through suspension and he’s set to start alongside Messi and Suárez in attack.
