Super Falcons have made Nigeria proud again – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said Super Falcons made Nigeria proud again after beating South Africa 1-0 to qualify for the final of the African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) against hosts Cameroon on Saturday.

The President, in his reaction to the victory wrote on his official twitter account after the game, telling them that the entire country looks forward to them winning the trophy against the Lionesses of Cameroon.

“Our Super Falcons have made Nigeria proud again. The entire country looks forward to the #AWCON2016 Final on Saturday,” Buhari stated.

Both Nigeria and Cameroon are meeting in successive final again, after the Falcons defeated them 2-0 at Windhoek, Namibia to win their seventh title in 2014.
