Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has reaffirmed his readiness for the senior national team against the Desert Foxes of Algeria in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo slated for Saturday.
Ogu was recalled to the team after been left out of the squad in the team’s victory over Tanzania and Zambia respectively under the team’s technical adviser, Genort Rohr. He was a key member of the Super Eagles squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, where he marshaled the midfield perfectly.
The former Académica star, who is expected to arrive the team’s camp on Monday, said on his twitter handle that he’s ready for the big clash against Algeria after his team defeated Hapoel Ashkelon 5-1 away from home.
