Neymar at risk of missing Real Madrid clash

Neymar could miss El Clásico
FC Barcelona winger Neymar is at risk of missing the first Clásico of the 2016-2017 season when Barça host Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on December 3 in their 14th game of La Liga this season.
Neymar hasn’t been bad so far this season, in fact, he’s been quite great except for the parts when he loses the ball so much and doesn’t score much (he’s in a 5-game goal drought currently), he’s currently Barça’s highest assister in all competitions but is on the brink of putting the club in a difficult situation as he could miss Matchweek 14 clash against Real Madrid.
The Brazilian forward has picked up a total of four yellow cards already in La Liga this season, a fifth will mean he’ll get a one-game suspension which means that if Neymar somehow picks up a yellow card against Real Sociedad on Sunday night, Barça will have to play the Clásico without a key man on the left wing.
The funny fact is that it is very likely that Neymar gets a yellow at the Anoeta. His behaviour on and off the pitch recently hasn’t been quite cool and he gets easily provoked. The game against Real Sociedad will surely be tough and one which is likely to be highly frustrating. Luis Enrique doesn’t seem to have much of a choice as Arda Turan isn’t available and Barça need all three points badly so Neymar is definitely going to start on Sunday night.
One thing about Neymar is that he has a problem with keeping his cool. He’s already picked up a suspension in the Champions League after a yellow card against Celtic that rules him out of Barça’s final group game against Borussia Mönchengladbach and also made the Celtic fans greet him with boos as he went off. Well, we just need Neymar to keep his cool and persevere for at least 90 minutes as we cannot afford to lose him before the Clásico.
