The trio of John Obi Mikel, John Ogu and William Troost-Ekong were the latest arrival in the Abuja Super Eagles camp ahead of this Saturday’s crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Desert Foxes of Algeria billed for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Israel-based Ogu is making a return to the team, while the duo of Captain Mikel Obi and Troost Ekong have been regular faces in the team, featuring in the two matches played under new German technical adviser, Gerhot Rohr.
Both Brown Ideye and returnee Chelsea star, Victor Moses arrived the team’s camp late on Monday night, but more players are expected to join the camp today (Tuesday) among players expected in camp is Dele Alampasu and a few others.
With the arrival of Ogu and Troost-Ekong, only five players are left in the 24-man list to join the team. Nigeria leads the group with three points, while Algeria and Cameroon are second with one point each.
