18 Players in Barcelona squad to face Celta Vigo

FC Barcelona will be taking on Celta Vigo in a complicated encounter at the Balaidos on Sunday night as they look to get all three points in their 7th Liga game of the season.
Coach Luis Enrique knows the task at hand is a pressing one and will try hard to get the result the Catalans will seek in Vigo, he has named his squad list for the game and as usual, it features 18 players in it and once again, right back Aleix Vidal wasn’t included and will sit out the  game.
The right back been out of favour in the eyes of Luis Enrique recently as he is yet to feature in a single match squad since Barça’s 2-1 league loss to Deportivo Alaves in matchday 3. The defender is joined by third choice goalkeeper Jordi Masip who also wasn’t called up as Luis Enrique relies on Marc-André Ter Stegen and Jasper Cillessen in goal.
Apart from Aleix Vidal and Jordi Masip, Lionel Messi and Samuel Umtiti are both out of the game through injuries. The former will be hugely missed by the team as he continues his recovery from a groin injury which is speculated to be off by next game. Samuel Umtiti has started training individually and will definitely be fit for the club’s next game against Deportivo La Coruña after the international break.
