Super Eagles striker, Moses Simon registered his name among scorers
as KAA Gent defeated KSC Lokeren 3-0 in the Belgian Pro League clash on
Sunday.
Slovakian defender, Branislav Ninaj scored an own-goal against his
side in the 26th minute; Kalifa Coulibaly increased the tally for Gent
in the 61st minute, before Simon completed the rout in the 70th
minute;
to leave score-line 3-0 at full time.
The 21-year-old Nigerian striker was on for the entire duration,
while the duo of Rabiu Ibrahim and Anderson Esiti made their debuts for
the club in their home victory. Ibrahim made substitute from the bench
in the second half second half for Israeli midfielder, Kenny Saief in
the 78th minute, while Esiti was in action for 90 minutes in his frst
game for the club.
Simon has scored two goals in his five games appearance for Gent in
the new season. Meanwhile, the Buffalos currently occupy second position
on the log with 12 points from two matches played so far.
