Emenike shines as Fenerbahce beat Gaziantepspor

Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Emenike inspired his club, Fenerbahce SK to a 2-1 win against Gaziantepspor in the Turkish Super Lig cxlash decided on Sunday.

Emenike opened scoring for the Yellow Canaries inthe 22nd minute, Nabil Ghilas equalized for Gaziantepspor in the 80th minute, before Brazilian star, Souza rounded off the game in the 86th minute to give Fenerbahce deserved home victory.

The goal was Emenike’s second goal of the season.

Elsewhere in the Swedish Allsvenskan, forgotten Nigerian forward, Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke scored a brace for AIK Fotboll but the goals were not good enough as they ended the game 2-2 against IF Elfsborg.

Obasi scored the two goals in the 30th and 32nd minutes, while the duo of Viktor Prodell and Per Frick scored Elfsborg’s goals in the 33rd and 75th minutes respectively.
