OFFICIAL: Bravo signs for Manchester City

Manchester City sign Claudio Bravo
Now-former FC Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has finally joined English club Manchester City from the Catalan club in a 4-year deal as announced by both clubs.
There have been a very long speculation that Barcelona promised young goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen the number one spot for the new season and Claudio Bravo isn’t comfortable with the decision therefore, he decided to leave the Camp Nou to join a club where he’ll be the indispensable starter and he has now signed for Manchester City for a fee of €18 million plus €2 million in variables, penning a contract that will keep him at the Etihad for the next four seasons.
Manchester City boss and former FC Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Bravo’s and see his as a goalkeeper who fits his tactics. The Catalan isn’t convinced with Joe Hart and doesn’t favour the England goalkeeper, starting Willy Caballero in City’s first two games of the season.
Pep sees Bravo as a goalkeeper who is good with his feet and can facilitate attack. He believes Bravo is the perfect choice for his project at the Etihad as he is familiar with the Barcelona style, a philosophy similar to his.
Claudio Bravo joined FC Barcelona in the summer of 2014 for a fee of €13 million from Spanish club Real Sociedad. He has been an integral part in Barça’s recent success, helping the club win 8 trophies during his time in between the sticks, featuring in 70 league games. The Chilean 33-year old goalkeeper has won two La Liga titles, one UEFA Champions League, two Copa del Reys, one Spanish Super Cup, one European Super Cup and one FIFA Club World Cup. He has also won two Copa America titles with his national team during this period.
