AFCON Qualifier: Super Eagles Players Set To Arrive Camp On Sunday

Ahead
of September 3 dead rubber Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against
Taifa Stars of Tanzania, some of the Super Eagles invited players are
expected to start arriving camp between Sunday and Monday after their European matches.

Some
of the Foreign based players expected in camp are Victor Moses who had a
scintillating game in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Burnley on Saturday, where
he scored a goal will hit the camp alongside Leicester City’s Ahmed
Musa, Watford’s Odion Ighalo, Wolfsburg’s Victor Osimhen, Wolves’ Carl
Ikeme, Mainz’s Leon Balogun,Trabzonspor’s Ogenyi Onazi and FK
Haugesund’s William Troost-Ekong, who also netted a goal against Brann
on Saturday.

Genort Rohr will be facing his baptism of fire in
Uyo as coach of the senior national team after signing on August and he
will be hoping to begin his reign on a winning note.  The duo of
Emmanuel Daniel (Enugu Rangers) and  Ikechukwu Ezenwa (FC Ifeanyi Ubah) are the only local based players invited by Rohr.

The
last time both teams met, the game ended 0-0 in Dar es Salaam.However, a
victory for either side would make no meaning considering the fact that
the Pharoahs of Egypt have sealed the only ticket of the group.
