Montoya to join Valencia, Tello to Fiorentina

Montoya and Tello will leave Barça to join Valencia and Fiorentina respectively
FC Barcelona players Cristian Tello and Martin Montoya will leave the Camp Nou this summer and it seems that Italian club Fiorentina and Spanish giants Valencia will be their respective destinations according to recent reports from Spain.
Barça coach Luis Enrique has stated it publicly that both Tello and Montoya are aware they are not part of his plans this season and their time as Barça players will be coming to an end.

MARTIN MONTOYA TO JOIN VALENCIA

Right back Martin Montoya will join Valencia after reports by Catalan newspapers led by SPORT suggest the club have reached an agreement with FC Barcelona for the transfer of the player to the Mestalla with the 25-year old set to sign a four-year contract.
Montoya played ten years at the Barcelona youth academy before being promoted to the B team where he spent two seasons before making his debut for the senior side in 2011.
Montoya was loaned out to Italian team Inter Milan last summer but he couldn’t cope in Italy. He returned to Spain in the winter transfer window where he finished the season playing for Real Betis.
He will now play the next four seasons wearing the whites of Valencia leaving Barça on a free transfer which is perceived to be part of the deal that saw Andre Gomes join Barcelona. The deal is set to be made official by tomorrow.

CRISTIAN TELLO TO JOIN FIORENTINA

Another player that will be leaving the club is Cristian Tello. The 24-year old is not part of the club’s plan and he will continue at Fiorentina this season, where he spent the whole of last season, according to reports.
According to SPORT, Barça demand a fee of around €8 million to sell Tello to Fiorentina but might just let the Spaniard join the Italian side on a loan deal with a purchase option.
The transfer will be decided by next week. It was said that Valencia discussed the inclusion of Tello in the deal for Andre Gomes but the player’s heart is set at returning to Fiorentina who are also willing to sign him after a good spell at the club.
Fiorentina want Tello to be their player, but the asking price of Barça is too much for them to afford for the player and they included Mario Gomez in a swap deal, something Barça wouldn’t want. The deal will be done very soon by the look of things.
