| FC Barcelona official away kit 2016-2017 |
FC Barcelona have unveiled their official away Jersey for the upcoming 2016/2017 season and is now available for purchase in Nike’s store.
The shirt is a unique one that sees the traditional blue and red colours of FC Barcelona blended into deep purple and vivid pink and it was built for speed by AeroSwift technology, making the FC Barcelona players feel agile and fast whilst performing at their best whenever they are on the kit, thanks to Nike’s recent innovation.
The kit is made up of purple shirt, purple short and pink socks. On the chest is a unique engineered knitted graphic of angular and geometric shapes, which accentuates this area of the body, and provides players with an armour, and a more powerful appearance. The smaller shapes at the bottom of the graphic are in a mesh structure to provide extra cooling to each side.
The Nike trademark logo is on the right side of the chest with FC Barcelona official badge on the left side of the player’s chest.
The sleeves and the upper back of the shirt are made up darker shades of purple compared to the main colour. On the back of the neck of the shirt is a small woven Catalan flag, the Senyera which is a tradition of the Catalan pride.
Stripes of vivid pink are on both sides of the shirt, around the neck region and is also used in the numbering and names of the Barça players with the club’s unique font. The same applies to the short.
The socks is made of vivid pink with a purple linear graphic at the back of the calf with the Nike trademark logo in front along with the inscription ‘Barça’ underneath it.
