NPFL Week 20: Wikki Tourists remain on top as Ikorodu woes continue

As it is, it’s most likely, Ikorodu United would return to the second tier of the Nigeria football after losing at home against Wikki Tourists.
Wikki Tourists Idris Guda was the hero for Wikki Tourists as his 85th minute goal was enough for the Tourists to record an emphatic away win in Lagos.
The victory means that Wikki Tourists are still topping the NPFL table after week 20 results.
Substitute Chisom Egbuchulam was one who scored the winning goal for the visitors as the Flying Antelopes recorded a win in this oriental derby.
Sunshine Stars failed to record a win in this match even though they won in Umuahia in the first fixture.
Kano Pillars have ended their four games without a win as they narrowly defeated draw specialists Plateau United in Kano
Coach Gbenga Ogunbote began his return to Shootings Stars of Ibadan with a superb 3 – 0 victory over visitors and former table toppers Akwa United.

Niger Tornadoes’ coach, Abdul Biffo would have put himself in a serious mess if his team had not won this match, but his boys did to him a lot of good as they beat their visitors.
Rivers United would have gone to the top of the NPFL after this win, but the away victory that Wikki Tourists recorded in Lagos spoiled the show for the Port Harcourt landlords.
