After their Champions League win against Atletico Madrid last month, Real Madrid unlocked two extra tournaments, the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. Los Blancos will take on Sevilla in the Super Cup duel but will travel to Japan in December to play in the Club World Cup where they’ll come up against the Champions of Africa, Asia, Oceania, North America and South America.
Zidane’s men will be looking to win the trophy come December which will be their second title in three years after Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid team won the title in Morocco in 2014 after beating Cruz Azul 4-0 in the semifinal and San Lorenzo 2-0 in the final.
If Real Madrid manage to win the trophy, it will be their third trophy of the year (that’s if they win the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla in August).
