Dybala: Juventus on the same level with Madrid and Barca

Argentine forward Paulo Dybala has stated that Juventus are on the same level as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich while also insisting club’s star man Paul Pogba would be staying in Turin for next season.

“Juventus is a great team like Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern. Two years ago we brushed the victory of the Champions League final and last season we were eliminated by Bayern thirty seconds left,” Dybala said when interviewed by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Rumours has it that Juventus Midfielder Paul Pogba is close to leaving the club with a host of transfer speculations linking him to a move to Real Madrid, but Dybala believes his teammate will stay.

“Pogba stays surely. I talked to him and I think he will stay with us. We haven’t talked about football but that’s what I feel,” Dybala said.

Dybala also spoke on Juventus’ new additions in Dani Alves and Miralem Pjanic from FC Barcelona and AS Roma respectively, and the 22-year old had high praises for his new teammates.

“I saw Alves playing many times because I always see the matches of Barcelona. I remember he had a great affinity with Messi, it is a very technical player, he will help us a lot in defence and attack and I hope that he can give me many assists.”

“The signing of Pjanic surprised me. I immediately thought of his contribution in set pieces. He shoots very well and with him we can improve myself and Pogba.”
