Official: Barcelona announce 2016/2017 preseason schedule

FC Barcelona Preseason 2016/2017 Starts On July 19th
FC Barcelona have announced their Preseason schedule in preparation for the upcoming 2016/2017 season with first training set to take place on July 20th after the opening official opening on July 19th.
The Catalan club took to their official website to announce that the Preseason will open officially on the 19th of July 2016 when the players will be at the Cuitat Esportiva Joan Gamper for physicals and orientation with training to start the following day.
According to the statement, players who are taking part in international tournaments during the summer (the European Championship, the Copa America or the Olympic games) will gradually join the group based on their progress in the competitions.
The team will hold a summer preseason camp at St. George’s Park from 25-30 July, a familiar place as it is the same complex where they trained in the summer of 2014, Luis Enrique’s first as Barça manager which saw them go on to win the treble that season.
Barça will then immediately fly to Dublin to take on Scottish giants Celtic in their first preseason game as part of the 2016 International Champions Cup tournament.
Apart from the game against Celtic, two other friendly games have been confirmed for the summer which would see the Spanish champions take on English Champions Leicester City at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on 3 August, before taking on Liverpool at the Wembley Stadium three days later.
