Manchester United look to topple Man City in the top four race tonight

Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United have the chance to go fourth in the EPL table tonight and will be looking for a win against West Ham so as to move over City rivals Manchester City in the race for the final UEFA Champions League spot with a game to go.The Red Devils – who are in fifth place – got a slim 1-0 win at Norwich on Saturday and are now just two points behind Man City who are fourth on the log thanks to the Cityzen’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday. The reds have a game in hand which will be played away against West Ham tonight to balance things up.After losing 4-1 to Swansea in the weekend which shattered their top 4 dreams, West Ham would come into the game in full force as they are fighting to secure the last Europa League spot by displacing Southampton away from sixth place. A win will see the Hammers move one place up to sixth, keeping their chances of playing in Europe next season in their hands with one game to play. The game promises to be a cracker as both teams are desperate for all three points. A draw won’t be enough for either sides so they’ll go all out for the win with West Ham having a slight advantage of playing at home. If West Ham get the win, they’ll be hoping to get a positive result in the final game day against Stoke City next week. If Man United get the win then they will qualify for next year’s Champions League group stage if they win on the final day against AFC Bournemouth irrespective of other results. The game kicks off at 7:45pm tonight.
