Will Guardiola sell Wilfried Bony?

Wilfried Bony’s stats against Norwich City were simply miserable. The Manchester City forward lost the ball on countless occasions and offered very little indeed going forward.

Manuel Pellegrini’s days at City will be over soon and you can tell. The Chilean just isn’t getting anything right at the Etihad Stadium.

But Bony’s future still hangs in the balance. But Manchester City fans don’t want that to be the case.
Indeed, after the 0-0 draw with Norwich, they’ve made their minds up on the 27-year-old striker – and want him out.

They believe Pep Guardiola will deliver just that reality, with Bony seriously underwhelming ever since moving to the Etihad Stadium.

Man City are now at a stage where they only need the best players in every position. Up front, there’s Sergio Aguero. Beyond that, though, who’s providing the backup?

Here’s how Manchester City fans reacted on Twitter to Bony’s performance v Norwich, they made their feelings pretty clear…

Would love to be a fly on the wall when Pep arrives & “discusses” Bony with Tkixi. Pep – “were you on drugs when you bought him?” #mcfc— Lee Bromfield (@LeeBrom) March 12, 2016

Absolutely pathetic from City today. Can’t defend Bony anymore either, he just isn’t good enough. #mcfc— John Smith (@Savechip55) March 12, 2016

Is there any other club stupid enough to buy Bony of us during the summer? #mcfc— Paul (@paultheblue2) March 12, 2016

I would like us to trade Bony for Lukaku and give them Kolarov as well #mcfc— Jacob, LL.M. (@Achillaes) March 12, 2016
