Europe Round-up: Ighalo's goal drought continues as Mikel continue to shine for Chelsea

Another weekend of football saw several clubs in Europe pitch tent against each other in titanic clashes at various leagues. The weekend was packed in intense games as the league gets to its critical period as clubs jostles for a reputable position in the leagues. We capture these eye catching display abroad with Nigerian players abroad in focus. We review the Nigerian players abroad and how they fared for their respective clubs.IN ENGLAND
At White Hart Lane, Alex Iwobi was missing in action as ten man Arsenal secured a 2-2 draw courtesy of Alexis Sanchez 76th minute strike as the Gunners drew with Tottenham Hotspur.
At Stamford Bridge, John Obi Mikel lasted the distance for Chelsea while Peter Odemwimgie was not listed in Stoke City’s match day squad as both sides shared the spoils at 1-1.
At Goodison Park, Emmanuel Emenike lasted 62nd minute and was replaced by Senegal forward Diafra Sakho while injured Victor Moses was not listed in match day squad for West Ham United as Everton 2-3 to West Ham United.
Kelechi Iheanacho came on for Spanish playmaker David Silva in the 70th minute as City defeated relegation bound Aston Villa 4-0.
Odion Ighalo lasted the distance for Watford and fired blank as his Watford side lost 0-1 to Leicester City off the boot of Talismanic Riyad Mahrez 56th minute winner.IN ENGLAND (CHAMPIONSHIP)
Sammy Ameobi was on the bench for the entire duration of the game as Bristol City lost 0-2 to his visiting Cardiff City side.
Hope Akpan was in action for 85th minute of the game as his Blackburn side lost 1-0 to host Burnley. He was replaced by Chris Brown.
Talented youngster Ademola Lookman was on the bench for entire duration for Charlton Athletic as they claimed a vital 1-2 away win at Brentford.
Tom Adeyemi was rooted on the Leeds United bench for the entire duration of the game while Bolton Wanderers center half Derik Osede Prieto lasted the distance (90minutes) as Leeds United defeated visiting Bolton Wanderers 2-1.
Anglo-Nigerian defender Nedum Onuoha lasted the distance for Queens Park Rangers as QPR lost 2-0 to host Milton Keynes Dons.
Talented Reading left back Jordan Obita lasted the distance as his Reading side were held 2-2 by visiting Fulham side.IN ITALY (DIVISION)
Osariemen Ebagua lasted the distance for 10 man Vicenza as they lost 4-0 to host Novara FC.IN SPAIN
Malaga new signing Ikechukwu Uche was on the bench for the entire duration of the game as his side Malaga drew 3-3 with Deportivo La Coruna in a famous six goal thriller.IN GERMANY
Anthony Ujah was surprisingly left out on the bench for 90 minutes as his Werder Bremen ran out with a 4-1 win over Hannover 96.IN FRANCE
Vincent Enyeama lasted the distance between the sticks for Lille with a clean sheet as Lille Losc side defeated Reims FC 2-0.IN HOLLAND
Right back Kingsley Ehizibue (20) lasted 84th minute of the game for PEC Zwolle and was replaced by Dario Tanda as his PEC Zwolle side defeated visiting side De Graafschap 2-1.
Elsewhere, Anglo-Nigerian defender Kenny Otigba was bench for the entire duration of the game as his SC Heerenveen lost 0-4 to visiting FC Utrecht.IN BELGIUM
On-loan defensive midfielder Mikel Agu was on the bench for the entire 90 minutes for Club Brugge as his side defeated visiting St.Truiden 3-0.
Michael Olaitan was on the bench for the entire duration of the game for Kortrijk while midfielder Chuks Aneke was not listed in action in Zulte-Waregem match day squad as Kortrijk defeated visiting Zulte-Waregem 1-0.
Stefano Chuka Okaka equalized for Anderlecht in the 43rd minute of the game, He lasted the entire duration of the game while his Anderlecht teammate Imoh Ezekiel made a late cameo appearance, coming on for Michael Heylen in the 89th minute of the game as Mouscron-Peruwelz defeated Anderlecht 2-1.

Edward Ofere was rooted to the bench for 90 minutes as Ross County lost 2-3 to his visiting Dundee United.IN DENMARK
Babajide Ogunbiyi lasted the distance for Hobro FC as they lost 0-6 to visiting Viborg FC in Denmark.IN AUSTRIA
Olarenwaju Kayode came on a minute after the intermission (46minute) for Ognjen Vukojevic and added gloss to the score line with a 90th minute strike to put the result beyond doubt as his Austria Wien side defeated visiting Ried FC 3-1.Kayode was cautioned in the 85th minute.IN TURKEY
Godfrey Oboabona lasted the entire 90 minutes as host Buraspor defeated his Rizespor side 1-0.
Osmanlispor FK duo Raheem Lawal and Super Eagles invitee Aminu Umar lasted the entire duration of the game while Gaziantepspor’s John Chibuike lasted the distance while teammate and reliable defender Gbenga Arokoyo is still missing in action from match day Squad as both sides drew 1-1.IN SLOVAKIA
MFK Skalica defensive midfield player Ikenna Paul Hilary (24) lasted 58th minute and was replaced by Peter Vasko while AS Trencin quartet of Kingsley Madu and Rabiu Ibrahim started the game but Rabiu was giving his marching orders in the 65th minute of the game while Madu lasted the distance while Aliko Bala and Samuel Kalu were all rooted on AS Trencin bench for the entire duration as MFK Skalica lost 1-2 to visiting AS Trencin.IN SERBIA
