CAF Champions League champions TP Mazembe have emerged this year’s CAF Super Cup ‎winners following their 2-1 win over 2015 CAF Confederations Cup winners Etoile Du Sahel of Tunisia.

Ghanaian D‎aniel Adjei was the star of the show as his first half brace was enough to give his side victory at the Stade TP Mazembe in DR Congo. Adjei scored the opener in the 19th minute with a brilliant header before he added his second on the strike of halftime.

Soon afterwards, Iheb Msakni pulled one back immediately for the Tunisians, but still couldn’t find a leveler in the second half as TP Mazembe held on to win the 2016 CAF Super Cup.
