Former Chelsea team doctor, Eva Caneiro storms a London court today January 6, 2016, as she begins her legal challenge against Chelsea.

Carniero who knows she has the support of some of the club players is suing the club for wrongful dismissal and sexual discrimination, after she was ousted in controversial circumstances at the start of this season.

It was revealed that some players had always sent her messages to support the fact that she was harshly treated.

It would be recalled that the Gibralter-born doctor was accused by ousted Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho of being “impulsive and naive” after she raced onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard in the opening day draw against Swansea.

Eva was later demoted from working on the bench during matches which prompted her to dump the club.

The preliminary hearing begins today at the London South Employment Tribunal in Croydon, where both sides will have to outline the witnesses they plan to call.

However, there are strong indications that Roman Abramovich may not issue Jose Mourinho a multi-million pound cheque after he was sackedon Thursday December 17, 2015 due to the Caneiro saga.
